The Tourist Visa is for travelers/tourists who intend to travel to the Solomon Islands for sightseeing, leisure and holidays.

Key Details

Online lodgement fee: $50 USD*.
Visa application fee: $100 USD*.
Validity: 30 days single entry stay from the date of arrival in Solomon Islands.
Maximum Stay: Up to 150 days.
Extension Available: Yes – Visa renewal before permit expires.
Extention Fee: $100 USD*.
Multiple Entry Option: Not available.
Work Rights: Not permitted.

*All visa and lodgement fees are levied in US Dollars and converted into Solomon Islands Dollars prior to finalisation of application registration.

Visa Requirements

Lodge application via the electronic visa portal.
Submit a valid copy of your passport biopage.
Submit a valid copy of your return air ticket.
Pay the online lodgement fee.
Pay the visa fee.
Have sufficient funds to support yourself.
Must be a genuine visitor or tourist.

Processing time

Wait time maximum 3 days, before we fully processed your application.
After you apply online for your visa, log into your account to check your visa status.
We will notify you through your email once we make a decision.
To prevent delays in processing time, please attach all required documents with your application.

When you get your visa

Once your visa is approved, we will send your evisa through your email that you provided.

Your visa is valid from:

the date you entered Solomon Islands, if you are applying from outside Solomon Islands.
the date your visa is granted, if you are applying within Solomon Islands.

Note: Visa expiry date will be stamped on your passport once you enter into Solomon Islands.

Who Should Apply

This visa is ideal for tourists and travelers who are not engaging in business, employment, or study activities while in the Solomon Islands.

Alert You may not be allowed into Solomon Islands if your passport validity is less than 6 months. Make sure you have genuine reasons to visit, provide evidence of funds to support yourself, and valid return ticket.

How to Apply

Click on the “Apply for a Visa” button to begin your application.
You will be required to register an account before proceeding.
Register using a valid email address* and create a secure password.
After registration, log in to your account using your email and password.
Once logged in, complete the online visa application form and submit your application.

*Please ensure your email address is active, as all application updates and notifications will be sent to this email.

Note: Extensions beyond the initial 30 days must be applied for before the visa expires. Overstaying may result in penalties or future entry restrictions.
