Commercial Vessel (Maritime Crew)

This visa is for crew members and personnel arriving on international flights or commercial vessels who require temporary entry into the Solomon Islands during transit.

Visa Requirements
  1. Fill in Transit Visa form in eVisa portal.
  2. Submit valid passport biopage.
  3. Sponsor letter of Indemnity.
  4. One-way ticket to board vessels or to board flight.
  5. Pay Administration Fee.

Crew members of commercial maritime vessels who need to disembark or stay briefly in the Solomon Islands before continuing their journey.

How to Apply

This visa is generally issued on arrival. Applicants must provide:

  • Details of the vessel (name, registration number, and flag country)

  • Expected date of arrival and port

  • Marine agent or shipping company contact details

Note: If a crew member needs to stay longer than 14 days or change their visa status (e.g., to work or visit), they must apply for a substantive visa and pay the associated fee.
