Ministerial Special Exemption

This visa is issued at the discretion of the Solomon Islands Government to individuals whose presence serves national interest.

Visa Requirements
  1. Fill in Ministerial Special exemption form in eVisa portal.
  2. Valid passport holder.
  3. Submit approval permission letter from the Commissioner of Labour.
  4. Sponsor letter of Indemnity or Ministerial letter of confirmation.
Who Should Apply
  • Any individual granted entry through special Ministerial authority, including for diplomatic, humanitarian, or strategic purposes.
  • Apply for visa exemption under section 11 (1) (e) of the Immigration Act 2012.
